Another Bellingham restaurant announces it’s closing, this after only 8 months in business

Another Bellingham restaurant has announced it is closing after JoJo’s Doughnuts and Darach Brewing Company both closed in the last two months.

The Little Kitchen Witch, a “small cozy ‘hole in the wall’ with great atmosphere,” announced it would be closing its doors. The announcement was made in a Facebook post on Thursday, Oct. 5.

The post said the restaurant would be closing “in the coming weeks,” and did not give a specific closing day. The restaurant first opened in February 2022.

The eatery is known for its falafel, schnitzel and other traditional Mediterranean dishes.

Wikipedia describes falafel as “a deep-fried ball or patty-shaped fritter of Arab origin ... made from broad beans, ground chickpeas, or both.”

The owners of the restaurant could not be immediately reached for comment by the Bellingham Herald.

Little Kitchen Witch is currently open from noon to 8:30 p.m. Wednesdays through Sundays and located at 4370 Meridian St. in Bellingham.
