2 Bellingham breweries named in top 10 in Washington, other local taprooms close behind
Two Bellingham taprooms were rated among the top 10 in Washington state, with other Whatcom County breweries ranking close behind.
Brewery Stars, a data-driven brewery ranking and brewery services website ranked breweries across Washington by consolidating public ratings for both beer and beer venues to find the highest-ranked breweries, according to review data.
“We take a data-driven approach to ranking breweries. When you’re visiting a brewery, you want both good beer and a good atmosphere. If guests consistently like a brewery’s beer and enjoy the experience of visiting the taproom, the brewery will do well in our rankings,” the website states.
The report ranked 441 breweries across Washington to find the best in the state, with five Bellingham breweries within the top 10%.
Highest-rated breweries in Whatcom County
Here’s which local breweries ranked in the top 100 in the statewide report:

The top five breweries in the report were all in Seattle, followed closely by Structure Brewing. Other Whatcom County breweries such as Kulshan Brewing Co., Darach Brewing Company, Aslan Brewing Co. and El Sueñito Brewing Company ranked within the top 200 breweries.
