Happy Lemon received 12 votes, or 35% of the total, to top the list of the best bubble tea in Whatcom County.
Happy Lemon is a chain beverage company with locations across the nation, and opened it location in Bellingham’s Sunset Square shopping center in September 2022, according to recent reporting.
The shops serve bubble tea, smoothies and other beverages as well as waffles.
The beverage shop is also popular online, receiving a 4.8-star rating from 107 Google reviews and a 3.5-star rating from 11 reviews on Yelp.
Happy Lemon is open from 11 a.m. to 8 p.m. daily and is at 1155 E. Sunset Dr. #105 in Bellingham.
In second place, tying with 5 votes was Bliss Tea Bellingham and Mochinut.
Bliss Tea Bellingham serves boba teas, taro smoothies, creme brulee milk tea and snacks, and is open from 11 a.m. to 9 p.m. daily at 2426 James St.
Mochinut is known for its mochi donuts, but also serves boba teas, soft serve and hotdogs. Mochinut is open from 11 a.m to 9 p.m. Sunday through Thursday and 11 a.m. to 10 p.m. Friday and Saturday at 228 N Samish Way in Bellingham.
In fourth place was Black Pearl Asian Fusion Restaurant with four votes and Big Orange received three votes.
