As the Ski to Sea relay race brings many visitors to Whatcom County, finding the best restaurant to visit shouldn’t be a challenge.

The Herald has put together a list of 10 restaurants in Bellingham for you to try that have received high ratings and serve food such as local beer, tacos, burgers, fresh seafood and pub fare.

Boundary Bay Brewery & Bistro

Menu highlights: beer, grilled fish tacos, mac & cheese, lamb burger, pesto salmon sandwich, Caesar salad, creme brulee.

Open from 11 a.m. to 9 p.m. Sunday through Thursday and 11 a.m. to 10 p.m. Friday and Saturday.

Black Sheep

Menu highlights: carnitas, carne asada, fried chicken, and chorizo tacos, chimichangas, breakfast burritos, house cocktails.

Anthony’s Hearthfire Grill

Menu highlights: barbecued garlic prawns, mahi mahi tacos, prosciutto and chicken mac and cheese, cod burger, Dungeness corn and crab chowder, flank steak.

Open from noon to 9 p.m. daily.

Wanida Thai House

Menu highlights: Pannang curry, pineapple curry, Thai BBQ pork, teriyaki beef, mango fried rice, crab rangoon, pad thai and Thai iced tea.

Open from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. and 4:30-9:30 p.m. Monday through Friday and noon to 9:30 p.m. Saturday and Sunday.

The Black Cat
