New Bellingham restaurant opens, new store joins the mall and yoga studio closes
Here’s a roundup of the latest retail and restaurant activity around Whatcom County:
New Mediterranean restaurant opens
Little Kitchen Witch, a Mediterranean restaurant, opened on Friday, Feb. 17, where a falafel food truck used to be. The new restaurant serves traditional Mediterranean dishes such as “the freshest and tastiest hummus and falafel,” the owners Eyar Cohen and Roni Moshkovitz, wrote in an email to The Bellingham Herald.
Little Kitchen Witch is open from 11 a.m. to 10 p.m. Tuesday through Sunday and is at 4370 Meridian St. in Bellingham.
Yoga studio closure
3 Oms Yoga announced that it will close on March 31 after experiencing “ongoing challenges from the pandemic,” according to its website. The yoga studio will keep holding classes until its closing date and allows walk-in participants to classes. The class schedule is online, and the studio is at 1319 Cornwall Ave. in Bellingham.
Crafters selling at mall
Craftery Lane is opening Bellis Fair mall. The boutique allows local handmade vendors to sell products in a mall storefront while keeping all of their product sale profits. Vendors pay for a two-week or one-month-long vendor spot. The boutique also holds craft classes, studio times and events.
The Bellis Fair mall is open from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. Monday through Thursday, 11 a.m. to 8 p.m. Friday and Saturday and from noon to 6 p.m. on Sunday and is at 1 Bellis Fair Parkway in Bellingham.
Keith Cox Autobahn Inc. sold
Keith Cox, the President of Keith Cox Autobahn, Inc., announced the sale of his business in an email to The Bellingham Herald. The auto repair shop opened in 2001 and focuses on German automobile service and sales. The business has been sold to Carson Wileman who worked at Keith Cox Autobahn, Inc. since 2017. Wileman will transition the business into Mint Automotive and have seven full-time and four part-time employees. Mint Automotive is at 1814 Ellis St., Bellingham, and can be contacted at 360-733-2721.
