Seattle ranks as a top city for pastry lovers, where to find great pastries in Whatcom
Seattle has been named as the fourth-best city in America for pastry lovers to enjoy bakeries and patisseries, just in time for National Pastry Day. But where can Whatcom County residents get their pastry fix?
A recent report from Lawn Love, a lawn care provider and research website, found the best cities for pastry lovers by researching the access, quality and popularity of bakeries and patisseries in the 200 largest cities in the country.
San Francisco came in first, followed by New York City, Chicago and Seattle in fourth.
For pastry lovers living farther north, where is the best place to get your pastry fix? The Bellingham Herald has put together a list of local bakeries and patisseries in Whatcom County.
Pastry spots in Whatcom County

▪ There are two locations in Bellingham. The Fairhaven location is open from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m. daily and is at 1217 Harris Ave. The downtown location is open from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m. daily and is at 308 W. Champion St.
