Several fast-food restaurants are coming to Whatcom. Here’s where

Here’s a roundup of restaurants coming to Whatcom County:

Times and Material Taphouse is planning for a Saturday, Feb. 26, opening. The taphouse is at 954 N. State St., near the Stateside student housing building.

A state liquor license application was submitted to put in a Westside Pizza shop in Blaine. The address is 1733 H St., Suite 200, next to the Blaine Cost Cutter grocery store. An opening date hasn’t been announced yet, but the company’s website lists that location as opening soon.

The Northern Light newspaper in Blaine reports that a Taco Bell and McDonald’s are being planned for the former airport site near the truck border crossing. White-Leasure development operations vice president Ken Lenz, which developing the property, said in The Northern Light that the plan is to have the restaurants ready by the end of the year.

A sign permit application was submitted to put in a business called Ochalicious Bubble Tea & Dessert at 128 E. Holly St., near the Little Cheerful cafe.
