Families: Make a Halloween monster from slime

Hardware Science Day goes Halloween this month with a look at how polymers work and an opportunity to help create a monster from green slime that glows in the dark.

Free demonstrations are at noon, 2 p.m. and 4 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 3, at the Ace Hardware store in the Sehome Village shopping center, corner of Samish Way and Bill McDonald Parkway.
