Celebrate the new year at these Bellingham decades parties, dinners and more

New Year’s Eve is Wednesday, Dec. 31, and to ring in the new year, check out these local events:

  • Bar Two Eleven is hosting a New Year’s Eve Celebration with SPACEBAND starting at 9 p.m. The event is only for ages 21 and up, and tickets can be purchased online in advance for $20, or $25 at the door. Bar Two Eleven is at 211 E Chestnut St. in Bellingham.
  • Bar Cicotti is hosting a New Year’s Eve Dinner at 5 and 7:30 p.m. The dinner includes four courses for $75 per person, and a $45 wine pairing option. Reservations are required and can be made online. Bar Cicotti is at 202 Grand Ave. in Bellingham.

  • New Year’s Eve DecaDance!, a decade-themed party at Chuckanut Bay Distillery, will run from 8 p.m. to 12:30 a.m. Tickets for the 21-and-up party are $40 per person and include admission, appetizers, a cocktail, a champagne toast at midnight and a photobooth. Tickets are available online in advance. Guests are encouraged to dress for their favorite era. Chuckanut Bay Distillery is at 1309 Cornwall Ave.
  • NYE @ Old City Hall, Whatcom Museum’s annual New Year’s Eve party, will run from 6 to 9:30 p.m. for guests 21 and over. Admission costs $65 per person and includes one drink ticket and a champagne toast at midnight. The party will feature two cash bars, live music, a balloon drop at midnight, treats from Pure Bliss Desserts and three museum galleries transformed into lounges. Tickets are available online it advance. Whatcom Museum is at 121 Prospect St. in Bellingham.

  • Storia Cucina will be open late on New Year’s Eve, serving special dishes and having a late-night happy hour with live music from 10 p.m. to 12:30 a.m. Storia Cucina is at 109 Grand Ave. in Bellingham.
  • The Upfront Theatre is hosting multiple New Year’s Eve events, including a special show for all ages. “A Very Upfront New Year: The Grand Recap” will start at 7:30 p.m. and finish with a New Year’s Eve sparkling apple cider toast at 9 p.m. Tickets are available online or at the door and range from $14-$18. After the all-ages show, The Upfront Theatre is hosting an “Upfront New Year’s Eve: Countdown to 2026!” party for ages 21 and up that will include improv, games, and a champagne toast at midnight. The event starts at 9:30 p.m., and tickets cost $29 online in advance. The Upfront Theatre is at 203 Prospect St. in Bellingham.

  • Stones Throw Brewery is hosting a New Year’s Eve party from 6 p.m. to midnight, featuring live music, beer, mulled wine, and a New Year’s toast at 9 p.m. and midnight. Stones Throw Brewery is at 1009 Larrabee Ave. in Bellingham.
