Bellingham’s November events: Holiday markets, improv festival, trivia and more
Looking for fun events to do in November? Here is your monthly roundup of key Bellingham events, festivals, trivia nights and live music this month.

Bellingham events
- The 43rd Annual Holiday Bazaar, a vendor market with more than 50 vendors, will take place at Bellingham Covenant Church from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 8. The holiday market is free to attend. Bellingham Covenant Church is at 1530 East Bakerview Rd.
- The Bellingham Farmers Market features more than 100 vendors and is open from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturdays at Depot Market Square at 1100 Railroad Ave. in Bellingham. The market runs every Saturday through Dec. 20.
- The Downtown Bellingham Holiday Wine Walk is returning from 5:30 to 9 p.m. Friday, Nov. 15. Tickets cost $40 per person and include 10 tasting tickets, a wine glass and tote bag for shopping. Participants will be able to visit 20 businesses, shop, and sample wines.
- The Bellingham Dockside Market features fresh fish from local fishermen and a variety of vendors from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 15 at Squalicum Harbor, 2599 S. Harbor Loop Drive.
- Open Roller Skate is returning to The Depot from 6 to 8 p.m. Nov. 14. Participants are invited to bring their own skating gear. The event is free for all ages at Depot Market Square at 1100 Railroad Ave.
- Krampus Night, a holiday and liqueur release party, will run from 6:30 to 10 p.m. Nov. 22 at Chuckanut Bay Distillery. The party will include themed drinks, food from Penny Farthing, a live DJ, photo booth and prizes. Krampus costumes, Christmas sweaters and holiday attire are encouraged. Tickets cost $35 each online, and the event is only for ages 21 and over. Chuckanut Bay Distillery is at 1309 Cornwall Ave.
- The Bellingham Improv Festival will run Nov. 20-23 at the Upfront Theatre. The festival includes improv shows and workshops. Tickets are available for each individual event, or whole festival passes for the whole weekend. The Upfront Theatre is at 203 Prospect St., Suite 102.
- FireHouse Arts & Events Center is hosting a Holiday Pop-Up Market from 1 to 6 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 29. The free event will feature local artisans as well as live music. The FireHouse Arts & Events Center is at 1314 Harris Ave.
- The Shop Small Holiday Makers Market, a Bellingham-based market featuring 50 vendors, will take over the Bellingham Cruise Terminal from noon to 6 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 29, and from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Sunday, Nov. 30. The event is free to attend and is located at 355 Harris Ave.
- You’re a Mean One: A Festive Ice Spectacular!, a Grinch-themed ice skating show and party, will have showings at 11:30 a.m. and 2 p.m. Sunday, Nov. 30. Tickets are available online in advance, and the holiday event will be at the Bellingham Sportsplex at 1225 Civic Field Way.

Live music in Bellingham

- The Aslan Brewing Co. Depot welcomes local artists throughout the month. For the music lineup, check the schedule online. Aslan Brewing Co. Depot is at 1322 N. State St.
- Kulshan Brewing Company’s various breweries are hosting live music all month. For the music lineup and locations, check the schedule online.
- The Blue Room, a live music and event venue, regularly hosts live performers and performances, including jazz nights, local artists, and improv nights. Tickets are available online in advance. The Blue Room is at 202 E. Holly St.
- The Shakedown, a live music venue and bar, regularly hosts live music and performers. Tickets are available online in advance. The Shakedown is at 1212 N State St.Wild Buffalo House of Music, a live music and event venue, regularly hosts live music from a variety of bands and performers. Tickets are available online in advance. Wild Buffalo House of Music is at 208 W. Holly St.
- Bar Two Eleven, a bar and music venue, regularly hosts live music and concerts. Tickets are available online in advance. Bar Two Eleven is at 211 E Chestnut St.
- Admiralty Lounge, a restaurant and lounge, regularly has live music from a variety of musicians from 7-9 p.m. on Tuesdays. Admiralty Lounge is at 100 N. Commercial St.
