Multi-platinum singer-songwriter coming to Bellingham next month; tickets available
A multi-platinum, Oregon-born musician, songwriter and singer will perform in downtown Bellingham next month in support of his newest album, released in May.
Mat Kearney created his new self-titled album, “Mat Kearney (still drowning in nostalgia),” with the help of other well known musicians like Demi Lovato, Zac Brown Band, Teddy Swims, COIN and David Guetta.
Now, the popular artist, known for hits like “Good Things Going On,” “Ships In The Night” and “Nothing Left To Lose,” will perform at Bellingham’s historic Mount Baker Theatre next month as part of his “Headlights Home” 2025 tour.
“The self-described ‘song explorer’ claimed the #1 spot on iTunes due to the success of his 2011 album Young Love, topped multiple Billboard charts, made four entries into the Hot 100, and had over 2.5 billion global streams,” according to Mount Baker Theatre’s website.
“Kearney, a multi-Platinum songwriter and producer, has performed live on ‘The Today Show,’ ‘Ellen,’ ‘The Tonight Show,’ ‘Late Night with David Letterman’ and ‘Jimmy Kimmel Live!’ Throughout his career, Kearney garnered rave reviews from USA Today, Entertainment Weekly, People, Billboard, PARADE, and Marie Claire. While on tour, Kearney has shared the road with everyone from John Mayer to NEEDTOBREATHE,” Mount Baker Theatre’s website states.
Kearney will perform at 7:30 p.m. Wednesday, Sept. 3 at the downtown Bellingham theater.
Tickets are available now for the show and range from $34.50 to $184.75. VIP tickets also include an “intimate 2-3 song acoustic performance, a Q&A session with Mat Kearney, a group photo, a signed screen-printed VIP poster, a commemorative laminate, and crowd-free merch shopping,” the website states.
