Here’s how you can still get free tickets to the Northwest Washington Fair

The Northwest Washington Fair in Lynden is now in its final week, but there are still ways you can get in and enjoy all the festivities at no cost.

The NW WA Fair runs Aug. 7-16. Each year the fair offers reduced- and free-admission days, and there are still a few left this year.

Here are a few ways you can visit the fair for free:

  • Military Appreciation Day, Tuesday, Aug. 12: All active-duty, retired and veteran military personnel, as well as their spouse and children, will receive free gate admission with a valid ID at gates 1 and 5.
  • Kids Day, Wednesday, Aug. 13: All children ages 12 and under will receive free gate admission at gates 1 and 5.
  • Western Washington University Day, Thursday, Aug. 14: All WWU students, faculty, staff and alumni will receive $2 off gate admission with a valid ID at gates 1 and 5.
