Lynden distillery kicks off summer live music series this week; concerts are free
Bellewood Farms and Distillery — featuring an apple orchard, pumpkin patch, cafe, distillery and market — will celebrate the 2025 summer season with a new live music series called “Farmtunes.”
The seven-week series will feature Friday night concerts that are free to attend and will include a variety of folk, pop, country and bluegrass artists. The series runs July 11 through Aug. 22.
“The family friendly concerts from 6 to 9 p.m. Fridays features artists from throughout the Pacific Northwest,” a news release from the farm states. “Farmtunes begins July 11 with folk/pop singer Michael Dayvid. Folk/pop duo Tailor Made brings acoustic guitar, mandolin and harmonica on July 18. The other acts are Queen’s Bluegrass, July 25; Handsome and Gretyl (folk/pop), Aug. 1; “American Idol” singer Mike Edel, Aug. 8; country/rock/pop cover band Gladstone, Aug. 15; and concluding with the versatile and fun Checo Tohomaso, Aug. 22.”
The concerts are open to all ages, and adults are encouraged to enjoy a glass of beer, cider or wine while experiencing the concerts and views of Mount Baker.
“Young children have room to play within sight of parents and everyone can enjoy delicious dinners and desserts at the Ten Mile Café,” Bellewood Farms President Eric Abel said in the news release.
