Bellingham events

The Bellingham Farmers Market is back to its regular weekly schedule for the summer. The farmers market features over 100 vendors and is open from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturdays at Depot Market Square at 1100 Railroad Ave. in Bellingham. The market runs every Saturday through Dec. 20.

The Bellingham Dockside Market features fresh fish from local fishermen and a variety of vendors from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. on Saturday, June 7 and June 21 at Squalicum Harbor 2599 S. Harbor Loop Drive.

Stemma Brewing Co. is opening its second location Friday, June 6, and hosting a party to celebrate the new beer garden and brewery. The grand opening event will include live music, giveaways, raffles, beer and food, and is open to all ages. Stemma’s West location is at 500 Carolina St., the previous location of Twin Sisters Brewery.

The Safety Fair/Summer Kick-off returns to Barkley Village from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. Saturday, June 7. The event invites families to meet local emergency responders, see fire engines, rescue boats, a helicopter and police vehicles, and participate in activities for all ages. The free event is at 3005 Cinema PL. in the Regal Cinemas parking lots.

Aslan Brewing Co. is celebrating its 11 year anniversary with a party Saturday, June 7. Both the Aslan Brewpub and the Depot will host parties starting at noon, featuring line dancing, carnival games, beer releases, carnival food and live music. Aslan Depot is at 1322 N. State St., and Aslan Brewpub is at 1330 N Forest St.

The Official Juneteenth Celebration returns to Bellingham from 2 to 6 p.m. Saturday, June 21. The free event includes guest speakers, a live DJ, musical performances, games, face painting, food trucks, a vendor market and activities for all ages. The celebration will be at Maritime Heritage Park at 500 W Holly St.

BAAY Summer Bash Fundraiser, an all-ages event to support the BAAY! Bellingham Arts Academy for Youth at Boundary Bay, will run from 3 to 7 p.m. Sunday, June 22. “The Summer Bash will include food and drinks for sale from Boundary Bay, as well as fun yard games, activities, and raffles. From 4 to 5:30 p.m., there will be a student showcase featuring performance highlights from the past year of BAAY productions. Admission is by donation, and there will be other invitations to donate during the event,” a news release from BAAY states. Boundary Bay Brewery is at 1107 Railroad Ave.

Live music in Bellingham

Stone’s Throw Brewery has free live music for all ages from 6 to 8 p.m. throughout the month. For the lineup of artists, check the brewery’s website or Facebook page. Stone’s Throw Brewery is at 1009 Larrabee Ave.

The Aslan Brewing Co. Depot welcomes local artists throughout the month. For the music lineup, check the schedule online. Aslan Brewing Co. Depot is at 1322 N. State St.

Kulshan Brewing Company’s various breweries are hosting live music all month. For the music lineup and locations, check the schedule online.

The Blue Room, a live music and event venue, regularly hosts live performers and performances, including jazz nights, local artists, and improv nights. Tickets are available online in advance. The Blue Room is at 202 E. Holly St.

The Shakedown, a live music venue and bar, regularly hosts live music and performers. Tickets are available online in advance. The Shakedown is at 1212 N State St.

Wild Buffalo House of Music, a live music and event venue, regularly hosts live music from a variety of bands and performers. Tickets are available online in advance. Wild Buffalo House of Music is at 208 W. Holly St.

Bar Two Eleven, a bar and music venue, regularly hosts live music and concerts. Tickets are available online in advance. Bar Two Eleven is at 211 E Chestnut St.
