Bellingham’s April events: Women’s film festival, Easter egg hunts, live music and more

Bellingham events
▪ The Bellingham Farmers Market is reopening for the season Saturday, April 5. The farmers market features over 100 vendors and is open from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturdays at Depot Market Square at 1100 Railroad Ave. in Bellingham.
▪ Open Roller Skate is back at The Depot from 6 to 8 p.m. Friday, April 4. The free event is open to all ages. Participants must bring their own skates, knee pads and other skating accessories. Open Roller Skate is at Depot Market Square, 1100 Railroad Ave.
▪ Bellewood Farms & Distillery will host Easter at the Farm from April 19-20. The weekend celebration will include photos with the Easter bunny, Easter egg hunts, live music, distillery tastings, tractor train rides and the cafe. Bellewood Farms & Distillery is open from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. for the event at 6140 Guide Meridian Rd.
▪ The 15th Annual Lettered Streets Neighborhood Egg Hunt will start at 10 a.m. April 19 for kids in fifth grade and below. The free event will include an egg hunt, an inflatable slide, crafts, games and a photo booth, as well as door prizes for events. The egg hunt is at Fouts Park, at 1901 G St.
▪ The ninth annual CASCADIA International Women’s Film Festival returns to Bellingham from April 24-27. The festival will feature over 30 films and events at venues across Bellingham. Tickets for each event are available online in advance.

▪ Kulshan Brewing Company’s various breweries are hosting live music all month. For the music lineup and locations, check the schedule online.
▪ The Blue Room, a live music and event venue, regularly hosts live performers and performances, including jazz nights, local artists, and improv nights. Tickets are available online in advance. The Blue Room is at 202 E. Holly St.
▪ The Shakedown, a live music venue and bar, regularly hosts live music and performers. Tickets are available online in advance. The Shakedown is at 1212 N State St.
▪ Wild Buffalo House of Music, a live music and event venue, regularly hosts live music from a variety of bands and performers. Tickets are available online in advance. Wild Buffalo House of Music is at 208 W. Holly St.
