B’ham Swing Jam Valentine’s Day Dance
The B’ham Bop is hosting a Valentine’s Day swing dance lesson and dance starting at 7 p.m. No experience is required, and a beginner lesson will run from 7 to 8 p.m. until the dance floor is opened. The event costs $30 per person, and tickets are still available online. The dance is at The Nest at 1125 N Forest St.
‘Fifty Shades of Velvet’ Improv Show
The Upfront Theatre is hosting “Fifty Shades of Velvet,” an “awkwardly provocative and hilariously passionate love story” improv show at 9:30 p.m. Tickets cost $14 per person and seats are still available online. The Upfront Theatre is at 203 Prospect St.
Discounted mini golf at Mammoth
Mammoth Mini Golf inside the Bellis Fair mall is holding a special sale Feb. 14-15. Guests can play a round of golf and get a second round free. Mammoth Mini Golf is open from 11 a.m. to 8 p.m. Monday through Saturday and 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. at 1 Bellis Fair Parkway, suite 354.
Love Grows Here Dinner and Live Music
The Kulshan Community Land Trust is hosting a three-course dinner and live music fundraiser from 7-9 p.m. Tickets are still available online and cost $150 per person, and include the three-course meal, live music and support for the local organization. The dinner is at Bar 211, at 211 E Chestnut St.
Live music at Stones Throw Brewery
Stones Throw Brewery is hosting Jay Irwin’s acoustic music group that will perform live music from 6 to 8 p.m. The event is open for all ages and is free to attend, and no reservations or tickets are required. Stones Throw Brewery is at 1009 Larrabee Ave.
Aslan Brewing Co. will have live music by Carrie Jennings and Tara Chugh starting at 8 p.m. The free concert is for ages 21 and over only, and does not require any reservations or tickets. Aslan Brewing Co. Depot is at 1322 N. State St.
