HGTV to feature downtown Bellingham store furnishings in new home renovation show

A new home renovation show on HGTV will feature furniture from a Bellingham store.

The premiere of “Unsellable Houses” is at 9 p.m. Tuesday, Feb. 4, with back-to-back 30-minute episodes. The show will take seemingly unsellable homes in the Pacific Northwest, spruce them up with renovations, new designs and staging in order to get a quick sale. The homes will be furnished with products from Greenhouse, the downtown Bellingham store.

The show is hosted by sisters Lyndsay Lamb and Leslie Davis, two real estate agents that work in King and Snohomish counties.

Greenhouse co-owner BreAnne Green said viewers should be able to see the store in a variety of ways, including exterior shots of the building and downtown Bellingham. Green and her husband, Eric, may also be in scenes delivering the furniture to the homes.

BreAnne Green said each home in the 10 episodes had a different theme and they worked hard to try and incorporate what they thought a potential buyer would want to see in a home.

“The experience was incredible; we look forward to hopefully continuing the work in season 2,” Green wrote in an email. “They (Lamb and Davis) are wonderful, down-to-earth people that quickly became friends more so than just a business partnership.”

HGTV is on Channel 68 or 674 on Xfinity. Those without cable can download the HGTV app to watch an episode of the show.
