Sehome continues to show improvement, but still seeking season’s first win
Michael Mindnich threw four touchdowns, three to Melloy Nelson, but it wasn’t enough in the Sehome football team’s 47-28 loss at King’s Friday.
Despite the loss, coach Kevin Beason said he was pleased with some of what he saw.
“I think we did some things up front better this week,” Beason said. “I was pleased with that. I think we just had some execution things across the board that put us in some bad positions.”
Among those, Beason said, were some turnovers and allowing some big plays on defense.
The loss stretched the Mariners’ streak to 22 straight, dating back to the 2015 season. They’ll try to end that streak Friday against Bellingham at Civic Stadium.
