Oxford Suites opening soon in Bellingham

The 99-room Oxford Suites going in at 4051 Meridian St. (near Barnes & Noble) is currently taking reservations as construction crews put the finishing touches on the hotel.

Reservations are currently being accepted for Tuesday, Sept. 1 and beyond. Curt Baney, president of Oxford Suites Bellingham, expects it to be open earlier.

“In the next month we’ll be accepting reservations for earlier in the summer as the actual date of opening becomes clear,” Baney said in a news release.

The five-story hotel will offer a full hot breakfast buffet, an indoor swimming pool, spa, sauna, steam room and an exercise facility. Specially designed pet friendly suites will also be available, according to the news release.
