Comedy: David Liebe Hart at Make.Shift Aug. 19

David Liebe Hart, best known for his roles on “Tim & Eric Awesome Show Great Job!,” and extensive tours throughout the U.S., Canada and Australia, is an outsider musician, actor and painter.

He will perform at 8 p.m. Wednesday, Aug. 19, at Make.Shift, 306 Flora St., a stop on his tour in support of his new album, “Astronaut.”

While Hart’s vast and bizarre catalog of songs about aliens, religion, women and trains has yielded such cult hits as “Salame,” “Father & Son” and “Puberty,” his followers are often won over by his good-heartedness, honesty and hilarious idiosyncrasies, as well his fun and engaging stage shows.
