HEAD TO HEAD: Seattle leads 8-3-5 in all regular-season meetings and 5-1-1 at home. The Sounders took the 2014 regular-season series, 2-1, and eliminated Dallas in the 2014 Western Conference semifinals on its away goal. The teams played to a scoreless draw March 28 in Texas. This is the final meeting of this regular season.

NOTES: The Sounders are coming off a 1-0 loss at Sporting Kansas City, which ended a four-game unbeaten streak. Dallas is 0-2-2 over its last four. … FC Dallas has scored five total goals over their last five games. Their 19 goals allowed this season are tied for the most in the Western Conference. … The Sounders are 5-1-1 at home. They have kept clean sheets in five of those seven games. FC Dallasis 2-3-2 away. … Seattle will be without Marco Pappa, who is away with the Guatemala national team. Osvaldo Alonso and Chad Barrett are doubtful with hamstring injuries. However, Clint Dempsey (birth in family) and Obafemi Martins (nose) and Brad Evans (international duty) are expected to return after missing the SKC game. … Dallas is expected to be without five players lost to international duty. However, team goals leader Blas Perez (five) and assists leader Fabian Castillo (five) are available. … The referee is Alan Kelly.
