Mud run returns after getting blown away in 2015

The name may be new, but the mess is still the same. Whatcom Events hosted WonderMud on Aug. 27 at its new 1.75-mile course with 22 obstacles at the Bellingham BMX race track. Race organizers said they expected 750 participants, down slightly from what they expected in 2015, when high winds forced the cancellation of the event. This is the fifth year of the event, which was formerly known as Muds to Suds and held in Ferndale’s Hovander Homestead Park.
