Former Sehome pitcher among Bells’ latest roster additions

The Bellingham Bells announced the signing of 11 10-day players on Wednesday, May 25, and former Sehome pitcher Josh Zavisubin was among them.

Zavisubin will join Bellingham High senior Austin Shenton, who was already on the Bells’ roster.

Zavisubin is a right-handed sophomore at Puget Sound University, where he is third on the staff with 37 1/3 innings of work this season. He owns a 0-4 record with a 5.30 ERA in 14 appearances, including five starts for the Loggers and recorded 26 strikeouts and only 15 walks.

The Bells open their West Coast League season June 3 at Kelowna and will make their home debut against Corvallis on June 7 at Joe Martin Field.
