Sehome sailing team claims district title, moves on to nationals
The Sehome sailing team won the Northwest Interscholastic Sailing Association District Championship last weekend at Anacortes, beating out top teams from Washington and Oregon. The team will move on to compete in the National Baker Cup regatta, which will be held next weekend in Anacortes
Sehome finished the regatta with a 16-3 record, beating out second-place Bainbridge (13-6) and third-place Woodinville (12-7).
The team was lead by senior skippers Liam Hood, Jeffrey Werner and Shea Walker. Their crews consisted of seniors Nick Bourlier and Quinn Shultis, sophomores Mallory Hood and Peyton Nienaber and freshman Cedric Keneipp.
