Bellingham junior earns lacrosse honors after splendid week
Bellingham junior Jackson Zerba has been selected a Washington state high school lacrosse player of the week for April 11–17, according to a release.
Zerba scored eight goals and logged seven assists in two games last week to earn the top honor out of the Wesco/Northwest Conference.
On Wednesday, April 20, Zerba scored five goals and had two assists to help Bellingham-Sehome beat Shorecrest 19-6. He followed that performance up on Saturday, April 23, by recording three goal and five assists and grabbing six ground balls in the Warriors’ 19-3 win over Cascade.
Bellingham-Sehome improved to 6-4 overall and stands fourth in the conference.
