Jeff Coston, an instructor at Semiahmoo Golf and Country Club, was one of four golfers to tie for first place following the final round of the Pacific Northwest PGA Senior Players’ Championship on Wednesday, April 20, at Win Valley Golf Club in Walla Walla.
Arrowhead Golf Course pro Rob Gibbons ended up winning the playoff on the first hole to claim the title over Coston, Portland, Ore., amateur Mike Kloenne and Ellensburg amateur Keith Crim.
Coston, who won $925, shot rounds of 71 and 68 to finish 5-under for the tournament.
Bellingham Golf and Country Club’s Rick Weihe tied for 72nd at 11-over, while Lake Padden Golf Course’s Vince Crocker was 98th at 24-over.

Coston and Crocker tied for eighth in the pro-am event at 10-under, while Weihe and partner John Kelley tied for 29th at 5-under.
