Whatcom Rowing Association boats claim first at Green Lake regatta

The Whatcom Rowing Association girls eight took first place at the Green Lake Frostbite Regatta on Saturday, Nov. 7.

WRA beat out second-place Green Lake by 0.4 seconds. The boat included coxswain Emily Parker, Diana Haass, Alysa Gallant, Lili Pongracz, Susie Bennett, Maddi Cummins, Jaclyn Hodgson, Ginger Mullins and Amy Evans.

WRA’s womens’ masters four also came in first at the event. The boat included coxswain Dani Armstrong, stroke Yvette Kelp, Jen Aven, Sheila Vicic and Kate Baher.
