WWU rugby club wins fall finale over Vancouver Island

The Western Washington University rugby club completed its fall schedule with a 62-3 win over Vancouver Island University last weekend.

The Vikings scored 10 trys in the game. Noah Hanks led the way with three trys. Wiatt Vasay, Nick Bonovich, Louie Henson, Oliver Daugherty, Mac Davis and Nate Regan each had one, while Hanks was good on six of ten conversions.

Western is the defending Northwest Collegiate Rugby Conference champion and resume their season at Oregon State on Jan. 23.
