Bellingham Blazers Shutout Seattle Ravens
The Bellingham Blazers notched their first victory of the Northern Pacific Hockey League season defeating the Seattle Ravens 4-0 Friday night at the Kent Valley Ice Arena.
The Blazers led 2-0 after the second period as Sean Meetsma recorded his first goal of the season unassisted. The Blazers scored their second goal as Karson DeRego assisted by Simeon Smith and Stephan Smith.
In the third period, Dylan Ryan scored his first of the season assisted by DeRego and Mark Klasen. The fourth goal was scored by Reese Fegan on a beautiful tip from Austin Sabin.
Blazer goalie Chris Alexakis had the first shutout of the season with a 24-save performance.
