Nolan falls in semifinals at 61st Pacific Northwest Junior Boys’ Amateur golf tournament

Nick Nolan of Bellingham got to the 61st Pacific Northwest Junior Boys’ Amateur semifinals at the Wildhorse Resort in Pendleton, Ore.

Nolan defeated Nick Yamauchi of Richland 7 and 6 in the round of 32; beat Gabe Lysen of Kirkland 2 up in the round of 16; knocked off Sam Tidd of Meridian, Idaho, 2 and 1 in the quarterfinal before falling 6 and 4 in the semifinals to Joshua Gliege of Eagle, Idaho.

Ezra Arneson of Lynden beat Seattle’s Blake Cooper 6 and 4 in the round of 32 before losing 4 and 3 to Tidd in the round of 16.
