Wallen ties for 23rd at Washington amateur

Blaine’s Ryan Wallen finished tied for 23rd after shooting a 78-75-76–229 at the 89th Washington State Men’s Amateur Championship at the 7,118 yards, par 71 Rope Rider Course at Suncadia Resort in Cle Elum.

Willy Scholten of Lynden shot a 83-77-84–244, and Cody Roth of Bellingham shot a 79-84–163 but missed the cut.
