Bells’ bullpen falters late
The Bellingham Bells stayed within one run until the seventh inning, when the bullpen took over for starter Reagan Todd. Things took a turn for the worse and Bellingham fell 8-1 to Kelowna on Saturday, Aug. 1, at Joe Martin Field.
Todd had gone six innings, allowing only two hits and striking out five.
The Bells only run came in the third inning on a passedball when Ethan Paul scored.
Bellingham faces Kelowna in the final game of the series on Sunday, Aug. 2, at Joe Martin.
