Bellingham Bells lose of sac fly in 11th inning to Cowlitz
Bowen Ogata hit a sacrifice fly in the bottom of the 11th and the Cowlitz Black Bears earned a 3-2 victory over the Bellingham Bells in West Coast League action Wednesday, July 15, in Cowlitz.
Both teams scored two runs in the seventh inning with Patrick McGrath hitting a two-run home run for the Bells.
Andrew Kemmerer gave up six hits and two runs in 6 2/3 innings for Bellingham and Riley Storedahl took the loss in the 11th inning.
The Bells travel to Victoria for a 6:35 p.m. start on Thursday, July 16.
