Solo homer all Cowlitz needs to beat Bellingham in WCL action
The Cowlitz Black Bears had one hit against the Bellingham Bells on Monday, July 13, in Cowlitz but it was the only hit they needed.
Cowlitz center fielder Ryan Aguilar hit a solo home run in the fourth inning to hand the Black Bears a 1-0 West Coast League win over the Bells.
Bellingham starter Zach Johnson gave up the one run in six innings for the hard-luck loss and Hunter Haworth and Riley Storedahl each pitched a scoreless inning.
The Bells combined for only five hits in the game.
