Bells hold on to win 4-1
The Bellingham Bells picked up runs in the third, seventh and ninth and once again avoided some runs by the bullpen to snag a 4-1 win over Kitsap on Friday, July 3, in Bremerton.
Brian Way threw four innings of shut out ball to start off, before Cody Anderson came in for three, picking up the win in the process. Hunter Haworth had a shaky ninth inning but held off Kitsap.
Walker Olis hit his third homer of the season.
Bellingham plays Kitsap on Saturday, July 4, before closing out the series on Sunday.
