Bells’ bats beat down Pippins
The Bellingham Bells followed up a walk-off extra-inning win on Wednesday with a 10-1 beating against Yakima Valley on Thursday, July 2, at Joe Martin Field.
The bats got going from the start as Bronson Larsen continued his hot streak with a homer in the first and Alex Galgano hit a three-run double in the second to give the Bells a big early lead.
Grant Schneider picked up his second win of the year on the mound, throwing 5 2/3 innings of shutout ball, striking out six in the process.
Bellingham (15-9) play Kitsap on Friday, July 3, at Gene Lobe Field in Bremerton.
