Tanner Tutterrow gave the American Legion Post 7 baseball team a strong outing, leading the club to a 3-2 win over Bellevue on Tuesday, June 30, at Sehome High School.
Tutterrow didn’t give up any earned runs, allowed four hits, struck out seven and walked one.
“Tanner threw a great game,” Post 7 coach Steve Slesk said in a phone interview. “At the plate, you could tell it was our 10th game in six days.”
Post 7 logged five hits, but manufactured two runs in the bottom of the fourth, scoring the go-ahead run on an Ernie Yake suicide squeeze.
