Bellingham’s bats hot but Bells fall in WCL game at Kelowna
The Bellingham Bells opened with four runs in the first inning and had 17 hits in the game but lost 13-9 in West Coast League action Monday, June 22, at the Kelowna Falcons.
Beau Branton had two runs and an RBI; Dustin Breshears was 3 for 6 with two runs, an RBI and a triple; Bronson Larsen had a run, an RBI and a double and Lou Della Fera was 4 for 5 with two RBI.
Bells starting pitcher Andrew Summerville only pitched three innings, Brice Longanecker took the loss with 1 1/3 inning of relief, giving up seven runs — four earned.
