Bells’ comeback falls short
Despite a late rally in the ninth inning, the Bellingham Bells fell to Corvallis 5-4 on Thursday, June 11, at Goss Stadium in Corvallis.
Chase Scott’s single in the ninth drove in Dustin Breshears, but it was too little too late for the Bells, whose every move was matched by the Knights.
Bellingham scored two runs in the fifth and a run in the seventh only to be matched in the bottom half of the inning.
Collin Maier took the loss in the outing, as he gave up two runs in the seventh and eighth innings.
