Mariners Workout Day: News and updates from T-Mobile Park

Answering questions for the first time in T-Mobile Park’s home dugout this season, Scott Servais’ first words: “It’s great to be back.”

The Mariners snapped an over-two-decades-long postseason drought last season and return on Thursday night for Opening Day, hopeful for a return back to October baseball.

But first, on Wednesday: Mariners Workout Day at T-Mobile Park, attended by a few thousand fans to watch familiar Mariners faces — and some new -- take batting practice, practice infield and outfield drills, and participate in skills games.
