Blaine capped a week where it had already gone 0-3 with a scoreless tie against Vashon Island in a nonleague game on Saturday, April 2, at Pipeline Fields.
The Borderites (0-8-1) were forced to play JV players as a few regulars were injured, coach Gio Quesada said.
“It was a learning process,” Quesada said about the game. “We just tried to have fun and give it our best effort.”
Blaine returns to play against Sedro-Woolley at 4:30 p.m. Tuesday, April 12.
