Sehome beats Nooksack Valley

Sehome’s soccer team didn’t assemble its best performance, but the Mariners came away with a 4-0 Northwest Conference win over Nooksack Valley on Friday, March 25, at Northwest Soccer Fields.

Isaac DeVange, Ethan Hunger, Drew Govender and Jack Willis scored Sehome’s goals.

“Not our best, but we did create some quality chances,” Sehome coach John Sylvester said. “We did probably get a little more creative because of this game.”

Rylan Hinkle, Charlie Lahud and Danny Fazio logged assists during what was the Mariners’ largest scoring output this season.

Next up is key, early-season league matchup with Squalicum at 7:30 p.m. Monday, March 28, at Civic Stadium.
