Miguel Gonzalez had a goal and two assists as the Lynden boys’ soccer team watched a 2-0 lead vanish and then has to rally to earn a 4-3 nonleague win over Mount Baker on Monday, March 21, at Mount Baker.
Nick Parris and Jose Rios each scored early on Gonzalez assists, the Mountaineers then had goals from Jesus Herrero, Andrea Santellani and Skyler Cannon but then Gonzalez scored off a Rios assist in the 55th minute and Ethan Jamison scored off an assist by Ernesto Zamora in the 65th minute to seal the victory.
