Squalicum is searching for its fourth consecutive state semifinal, making the round in each of the past three seasons, including the school’s first state title last season. The Storm is a complete team from top to bottom, bolstered by all-state forward Kim Hazlett and Kim Dorr up top, a strong midfield that boasts future NCAA Division I player Kendra Steele and a defense that’s only allowed four goals this season. Squalicum didn’t look its best in Tuesday’s first-round win over Steilacoom and still out shot the Sentinels 20-1. The Storm’s last loss came on Nov. 22, 2013, in a 2-1 semifinal to Bellingham. That’s 723 days since Squalicum walked off a field defeated.
