Sehome soccer finishes season with 6-0 win over Anacortes
Sehome won their last game of the season with a 6-0 victory over Anacortes on Monday, Oct. 26, at Civic Stadium.
“They knew it was the last, which was pretty sad for my seniors,” Sehome coach Andrea Fountain said in a phone interview. “But they definitely made the most of it.”
Senior Devin Grahn was on the field for the first time this season, sending a few passes but not playing aggressively because she is technically still out with an ACL injury, Fountain said. But, being able to play for just a few minutes in the last game with her team was very special for Grahn.
With this strong final win, Sehome girls’ soccer is done for the season.
