Ferndale soccer wins 4-0 over Blaine on senior night

Ferndale girls’ soccer won 4-0 against Blaine on Monday, Oct. 26, at Ferndale High School.

It was senior night and Ferndale coach Joe Gonzalez said it was an emotional night for the team. Except for an injury and a yellow card, senior players were on the field for the entirely of their last regular season game with Ferndale High School.

“It was a great way to end our league, the girls played strong,” Gonzalez said. “It’s time to gear ourselves up because it all starts over now.”

Ferndale plays their first round of playoffs at 4 p.m. on Saturday, Oct. 31, against Arlington.
