Nooksack Valley ends season with 8-1 loss to Blaine

Ashley Quesada contributed to seven goals as Blaine girls’ soccer won 8-1 against Nooksack Valley on Thursday, Oct. 22, at Pipeline Fields.

“It was a great possession game,” Blaine coach Kelly Tuski said in a phone interview. “It created the right scoring opportunities we needed and I appreciated (Ashley Quesada’s) willingness to score but also to take the lead.”

Quesada had four goals and three assists.

Tuski said Samantha Miller’s goal was a great shot and she is excited to see how the sophomore will perform in the next couple seasons.

Blaine plays again at 4 p.m. on Monday, Oct. 26, at Ferndale High School.
