Lynden Christian girls’ soccer loses 5-3
Sedro-Woolley came back late in the first half to control the field and win 5-3 over Lynden Christian on Tuesday, Oct. 13, at LC.
“We got off to a good start with Haley (Hollander) getting those two goals early on,” Lynden Christian coach Brent De Ruyter said in a phone interview. “Then we started to play more conservatively.”
Shaye Brandsma also scored a goal for Lynden Christian. Della Babcock scored two goals for Sedro-Woolley, spearheading the Cubs lead that lasted through the second half.
Lynden Christian plays Blaine on Thursday, Oct. 15, at Pipeline Fields.
