Sehome girls’ soccer edges Sedro-Woolley
The Sehome girls’ soccer team earned a 1-0 Northwest Conference victory on Tuesday, Oct. 6, at Sedro-Woolley.
Hannah Moore scored on an assist in the 57th minute on an assist by Christina Funk and Fiona Dawson.
Nicole Carlson had two saves for the Mariners.
Sehome coach Andria Fountain said the defenses were tough and the Mariners played well, even without the results to prove it.
“We put together some good passing combo plays even if they didn’t result in goals,” Fountain said in a phone interview.
Sehome hosts Meridian at 7 p.m. Thursday, Oct. 8, at Civic Stadium
