Full-field effort leads Squalicum to 7-0 win

Squalicum girls’ soccer won 7-0 against Lynden Christian on Thursday, Oct. 1, at Civic Stadium.

“We have been really working on our passing as a team,” Squalicum coach David Kish said in a phone interview. “That is what shined today. We were passing so incredibly well, it was amazing to watch.”

Kim Dorr scored three goals for Squalicum. Sarah Hulbert, Jayden Nguyen, Sophie Nguyen, Payton Fowler and Braeden Hilleary also scored.

Both teams play again on Tuesdsay, Oct. 6. Squalicum plays at Ferndale at 4 p.m. and Lynden Christian will play at Mount Baker at 4:30 p.m.
